Last winter I dug up some of the BORAGE that had taken advantage of my land clearing activities and spread like crazy.
BORAGE is a great plant to add to a water butt (not one where you use a tap - it'll get blocked by rotting leaves), or to use to make a liquor to use as a plant food. An essential stinky manure for any ORGANIC GARDEN.
The roots are quite long, so I cut them into finger lengths, put about 9, horizontally into a seed tray sandwiched between compost, and left them to over-winter outdoors.
And here is a sample of the results!
PLANT/POT ON!!
