I'm still in clear up mode, like someone with a gardening based OCD.
This customer wanted this IVY covered bank cleared down to the soil. There's no better time of year to do this work. I can see the soil through the almost bare Ivy and there are very few weeds here for me to struggle with. While I'm at it, I'll cut the Ivy off at the base of all the trees and shrubs in this area of the garden; a job that needs to be once a year, twice at the outside. It'll be a straight forward job.
Here we are then, after about an hour - there is more of the bed that you can't see. I spent a little time, after this shot was taken, neatening the wiggly lawn edge. Over time the Ivy will try to return, but I've set up a CORDON SANITAIRE and on this side of the line THERE WILL BE NO IVY. Neither my customer or I care about the other side of the line.
