As usual, we went for a walk around our and our neighbours' gardens after we'd eaten 'brekky'. It's a ritual left over from our days with a much bigger garden; a gentle start to a day of ... promise.
Contorted Willow, even the leaves are twisted
My neighbours tulips all in a line, ATTENTION!!
The Raspberries are in bud and filling out nicely.
As for the proto-goosegogs, they look like gonads ... in my opinion. IS IT JUST ME???
THE NEIGHBOURS' FERN IS UNFURLING BEAUTIFULLY - WHAT ABOUT MINE?? They're STILL asleep - Why???
The bad thing about her garden is this, Japanese Knotweed. Man, she has masses of it.
Her periwinkles twinkle in the sun.
And as for the Cherry Laurels, well, looky, amazin' and the smell, so sweet and heady and following on from the ARMANDII Clematis in our garden gives a over a month and a half of perfume in the garden.
Faux Raspberry shining in next doors' garden.
Not to be outdone, here are our tulips in a VERY spring bed.
Strawberry pots never work, unless you use Alpine Strawberries. They work brilliantly.
More of my Poppy's. These are ragged stylee and I love them.
Now it's tipping with rain, we can definitely say we had the best of the day.
